A man from Bury in Lancashire has deliberately and purposefully clicked on a pop up ad that covered the entirety of the content he was trying to view.

“I couldn’t believe it,” said Wesley Peabody, “I was viewing my second favourite satire news site, N***T****, when a full page frigging ad covered the entire story. I went to look for the little ‘x’ to close it and noticed it was actually something I wanted to purchase!”

The Guinness Book of Records have been contacted but advised that they have to remain sceptical until an investigation has taken place as the claim is so incredibly unlikely.

“I’m really quite happy with it,” said Wesley of the second rate RPG he bought through the advert, “though it isn’t quite as good as the brilliant pictures on the advert.”

The news follows reports last week that someone had actually clicked on that obviously fake link to what celebrities of the past look like now. The one that suggests that a once famous celeb is now fat and ugly even though a quick Google shows they’re still famous and look fine.
The reports turned out to be false.

“I’m thinking of removing adblock on the PC now,” said Wesley, “who knows what brilliant stuff I’ve been missing?!”
