Write for The Rochdale Herald

The Rochdale Herald is written almost entirely these days by amateur writers and funny individuals.

We are always on the lookout for new writers who are looking to have their work published, and while we aren’t yet in a position to pay for submissions, we take great pride in utilising our presence on social media platforms to support a number of charitable causes including Barnardo’s, Different Strokes and The Refugee Council.

In the last twelve months we were able to buy over 26,000 gifts worth almost £175,000 for children in poverty all over the country through our gift appeal.

If you have original ideas for jokes and headlines and would like to write for us please, send an email with your idea to submissions@rochdaleherald.co.uk.

Please ensure that your submissions are original and aren’t nicked from Twitter or other websites.
