Rumours are circulating around the World’s scientific community that the man who has designed a pram that fits in the boot of a car is hotly tipped to win the Nobel Prize for Science.

Isambard Burnley, a Burnley born scientist, is rumoured to have designed the World’s first affordable pram that can fit in the back of an average size family car.

The “Miracle” pram will be priced at only £11,000 when it hits shops in 2025 and is rumoured to be collapsible, lightweight and can be operated by any layman with rudimentary degree level training in either mechanical engineering or quantum physics.

“This is a real breakthrough for mankind.” Nobel Laureate Peter Higgs told The Rochdale Herald. “A pram that can fit in a family sized vehicle, with a family, without the need for power tools and a Masters Degree or PHD in applied Mathematics is really a game changer.”

“Rumour has it that Isambard has developed a design that will allow humans to be able to transport their children AND take a bag with them.”

“Forget discovering the God Particle, cold fusion or colonising Mars, this is the step forward that civilisation has been waiting for.”

Isambard told us: “It’s a real honour just to be on the shortlist for the prize, winning it would be a dream come true. It was a team effort. I’d like to thank all the scientists at NASA who have worked around the clock designing components for the Miracle.”

“We hope to have a working prototype on the market by early 2024 and a full commercial model in Mama’s and Papa’s by 2025.”
