Brexit voters were unsure who to be furious at today after a British Court as opposed to a European Court made a decision about the nature of British Parliamentary Sovereignty.

“I’m furious” Dave England, Brexit fan and part time benefits cheat, told us, “out means out, Brexit means Brexit, leave means leave. Put £350M a week into the NHS now. Don’t get me started about immigrants. Check their teeth. It’s a stitch up.”

The High Court passed judgement today declaring that Parliament must vote to trigger Article 50, a non-binding resolution which merely begins the process of negotiating the terms of an exit from the EU and not an actual exit from the EU.

Actually triggering the exit from the EU will probably require another vote in Parliament once the UK has negotiated terms because that’s how Parliamentary Democracy works. And then, of course, it’ll go to the House of Lords.

“It’s an outrage.” Added Dave England, “I voted out of the EU because I didn’t want unelected officials making important decisions about Britain’s future.”

When we pointed out that Theresa May wasn’t elected Prime Minister he said;

“Eh?”
