Michael Gove danced a scintillating version of The Macarena at the Cenotaph, scored straight 9’s but The Sun photographer missed it.
Today at the cenotaph there were glorious scenes, Michael Gove danced the Macarena round the monument to rapturous applause, Len Goodman in attendance said;
“Finally! The performance everyone was waiting for! You have outdone and outdanced Fred Astaire BEST. DANCE. EVER.”
There was little doubt that Gove had absolutely smashed it when he got straight 9’s from each judge.
Unfortunately the photographer from The Sun missed it as he was taking pictures of lichen on the pavement at the time. He was later seen smashing his camera and shouting obscenities at a satsuma, he was sectioned under the mental health act.
