A couple has had their night out at an Ed Sheeran gig completely ruined by Ed Sheeran music.
Married couple Steve and Barbara Dickinson from Rochdale were on their bi-annual night out on Thursday when Ed Sheeran decided to ruin it.
“It had been going quite well” Steve told The Rochdale Herald.
“I’d had a hot dog, the queues to get into the stadium weren’t too bad and I’d had a couple of cold beers when it happened.”
“I was minding my own business when this ginger bloke started electrocuting a cat on the stage.”
“I’d enjoyed quite a pleasant hour and a half of sitting in the sunshine drinking beer in silence after the support act stopped murdering songs. When the silence was broken.”
“We did leave fifteen minutes early and beat the traffic which was good I suppose.”
Barbara said “Steve’s a miserable sod, I don’t know why I bother taking him anywhere.”
