The Conservative MP Ben Bradley has conceded that Jeremy Corbyn did no work as a Politician in the 1980’s and has agreed not to make the allegations again.
Bradley, who has over 4,000 Twitter followers, alleged on Monday that Jeremy Corbyn was a politician in the 1980’s. The tweet, which has since been deleted, followed newspaper reports claiming that Mr Corbyn was working as a British parliamentarian and Labour politician in the 1980’s.
A spokesman for Mr Corbyn said: “Sure Jeremy was elected to Parliament and showed up from time to time but to say that he ever did any meaningful work, produced any white papers, legislative proposals or had anything to do with the Labour whip for the last 30 years is quite frankly libellous. You want to watch your step lad. Journalists go missing too, what’s your name?”
“Jeremy spent most of the 1980’s in the Soviet Union as a consultant to the Czechoslovakian jam making industry and growing award winning marrows on his allotment.”
“To suggest that he had enough time to put a days work in at Westminster, let alone spy for the Soviets is just ludicrous.”
“You’ve obviously never had to grow your own potatoes have you? Don’t worry you will.”
