US President Donald Trump Thursday attempted to cement US-Polish relations in a speech delivered in the Polish capital Warsaw on the first day of a four day European tour.
Speaking in front of a large crowd in Warsaw’s Krasinski Square Trump expressed his undying love and respect for Polish culture.
“Pole dancers, I employ many of them in my hotels. With and without shower attachments,” he said.
“Because Pole dancers are the best, the bestest. I’m a huge fan, huge,” he added, explaining that he wanted to employ more Pole dancers at his golf resorts in the United kingdom but was worried his plans might be blocked by Brexit.
“What is it with those Brits – they don’t appreciate art and highbrow culture?” he asked to rapturous applause.
Trump’s love of Poland was reciprocated by former Polish President and Trade Unionist Lech Walesa whose opposition to Soviet rule led the country to throw off the yoke of communism in 1991.
“We here in Poland are huge fans of Trump, with our national diet of potatoes cabbage and eggs we have to be,” he said explaining that during the 40 years of soviet domination of Poland fans were in short supply.
“In the depths of the cold Polish winter when it was too cold to open the windows, we Poles were forced to endure the fetid cabbage scented trumps with no technological help whatsoever,” he explained.
“God bless America, God Bless President Trump and God bless affordable Chinese made ventilators,” he boomed.
