Amber Rudd has confirmed that the Man from Del Monte is to be deported.

The man who arrived in the UK in the 1980’s recently became a grandfather but is now facing deportation for working illegally.

It’s understood by the Herald that the man had appealed against the decision made in December 2016 citing family ties to the UK but this was overruled due to the man now being divorced from his English partner. The 2  divorced in 2014 with his wife citing his many affairs with fruit pickers in the far corners of the world as the reason for the divorce.

A further complication for the man is that he is under investigation by HMRC for tax evasion. HMRC alleges that in the last 30 years the man hasn’t paid any tax on his earnings.

Speaking exclusively to the Herald the Man from Del Monte said, “No, no no no.”
