As fans eagerly anticipate the latest film in the Star Wars saga, Rogue One, plans have been revealed for yet more films to be made.
It has already been announced that the story of Rogue One ends 10 minutes before the start of Episode IV A New Hope or “The first one” as it should be called.
Since Lucasfilm was sold to Disney, plans to extend the story by a further three episodes and Rogue One are just the tip of the iceberg.
“We are going to milk every last bit of cash out of this beast” said studio executive spokesperson, Moss Isley in a phone call to The Rochdale Herald.
“After Rogue One, we will be making a film about the missing ten minutes from about 18 different characters viewpoints. It won’t add anything to the storyline or be of any quality at all but these suckers will lap anything up”.
He went on to divulge more ideas in the pipeline. “We are going to do a full maintenance guide to the millennium falcon, a side story about a Wookie hairdressers, and we might just make a film where all that happens is the big gold letters scroll up and tell the story for two whole hours.”
Rubbing his hands with glee, Mr Isley added “As for the actual saga, who knows, it’s been total bullshit all the way so far so in terms of episodes, the sky’s the limit. We could keep going till the time in the future it actually happened.”
When The Herald pointed out that the films were set a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, the phone call was ended.
