The Rochdale Herald held an exclusive poll earlier today to find out the public’s reaction on whether or not they should have to got through age verification processes in order to access Adult websites.
Teen involvement in the poll was around 50% and it can now be revealed that not one single teen voted in favour.
“Credit card verification sucks” said one we managed to convince to talk. “I’ll just have to steal my Dad’s wallet and do it that way. There are ways around it.”
“Why are we being punished? I’ve been streaming this stuff for years and it’s not done me any harm!” said a pasty looking teenager with a calloused hand and his arm in a sling.
Digital minister Matt Hancock (yes really) was also involved in overseeing the huge poll, but declined to comment on how he voted.
“I’ve done my talking in Parliament, we need this to come as soon as possible. If teenagers are against it, who cares, I’ll still get it in through the back door. Ooh err. That’s what this Tory government is all about.”
The bill has been supported in most areas of The Conservative party since ministers realised they could make money from the Government’s own website by using the same age verification process.
A sliding scale of charges will be implemented depending on age, sexuality and ethnicity. Single, white, middle aged men are expected to remain exempt from the process.
