Diane Abbott has responded to criticism of her dismal interview performance on LBC yesterday by saying that she never really wanted to be a politician.
“I’m only a politician because my careers advisor told me I was never going to fulfil my ambition of becoming a mathematician.” Diane Abbott, Mistress of Hard Sums, told The Rochdale.
The admission follows Abbott’s criticism of the media for repeatedly playing a recording of her trying and failing to guess the annual salary of a policeman on live radio yesterday.
“I was quite good at sums at school but genuinely who can multiply £30,000 by 10,000 in their heads? It’s impossible. Nobody can do it.”
Corbyn has allegedly defended the Sudoku enthusiasy and Shadow Home Secretary by reportedly saying;
“It’s not as if Diane will be expected to do sums in her role as either Chancellor of the Exchequer or Home Secretary. She’s a politician for God’s sake. It’s only money.”
