A Rochdale man has spoken to us about vegetable he has found that looks remarkably like Prince Charles.
Bill Board told us, “It was last Saturday that I found it. I saw it sticking out of the ground. I pulled it out and was amazed. I looked at it and thought, that looks like Prince Charles. I called mr wife, Orla over.”
Orla Board told us, “I knew it looked like Prince Charles because Bill said,”This looks like Prince Charles.” I phoned my mum and told her. We’re going to open it up as a shrine to him. Maybe he’ll come and open it.”
And this isn’t the first time that Bill and Olga have had vegetables that look like famous people. Last year Olga found a turnip in the shape of Camilla Parker-Bowles and 15 years ago Bill found the face of Daniel Beddingfield in his lawn mower.
Prince Charles was contacted for comment but declined.
