Nicola Sturgeon has called for IndyRef2 to be brought forward to save the British Lions Tour to New Zealand.
Speaking in the aftermath of Scotland’s 61:21 tubbing at the hands of England Ms Sturgeon said;
“It is now more vital than ever that the Westminster Government tackles the tough issue of Scotland’s inability to tackle. They just can’t defend how Scotland can’t defend” she continued.
“The only way the British Lions stand a chance in New Zealand is with an Independent Scotland and Stuart Hogg absolutely nowhere near the plane to Auckland.
However, New Zealand have petitioned The Commonwealth Office to prevent any Scottish “Brexit” prior to the tour.
NZ Prime Minister Bill English said “the whole country has been looking forward to Finn Russell’s comedy goal-kicking and to rob us of it now just isn’t Cricket…which incidentally Scotland should probably play instead of Rugby…..”
