American gun sales have enjoyed a steep rise in the days leading up to the President elect’s inauguration.
“It’s almost 200% more than when Bush Jnr got elected” beamed Chuck Cartridge, head of the NRA.
In light of the news, security has been ramped up for the big day with members of the public only allowed to carry only one machine gun each.
In response to the story, President elect Trump tweeted:
“Bring it on. My guns are biglier than your guns. Much biglier and betterer. Sad.”
