US President elect, Donald Trump, hosted a tribute event at the White House to mark Martin Luther King Weekend.

A source close to Trump told us of plans to hold a gathering on the White House lawn, which will see the burning of a giant cross and several effigies including Democrat Congressman John Lewis and other prominent civil rights activists.

There will also be a barbecue and some small rides.

Families and pets are welcome to attend, however, it is strongly advised that those with a slightly darker pigmentation of skin stay away.
