Apple have announced this week that they will be basing their future British tax evasion projects at South London’s Battersea Power Station.
Mayor Sadiq Khan welcomed the move from the tech giant and said that this was further proof of London’s attraction to international brands.
The move could take several years but Apple say it’s proof of their long-term game and their commitment to the UK.
“We think having our base at such a site is very apt,” said Stephen Careers, of Apple UK.
Is this because it’s an iconic yet deceptively simple piece of architectural design, we asked?
“Well I was thinking because thousands loved it despite it constantly disappointing in its supply of power but what you said was better!”
