All nations attending Treaty discussions are only allocated one car parking space.
UK plans for “Brexit” have hit the buffers after Westminster Civil Servants finally got round to Item 2 on the Brexit Committee agenda – “Read Article 50”.
David Davis has had to be informed of the horrific conclusion that the EU Referendum was actually taken to trigger a complaint on Car Parking allocations.
In an ironic twist, should the UK trigger Article 50 and lose it’s only parking space, it would make it almost impossible for them to attend any such discussions.
Civil Servants are not clear if this means that if the clause had been triggered would the UK get one huge parking fine or if the stalling of triggering it would lead to Theresa May having her car clamped or if they don’t trigger it but want to discuss it, would the German delegates give them a lift home?
At this point it has become fairly clear that the UK does not have the wherewithal to deal with EU treaties of any sort and should probably save its collective energy for obsessing over what is an appropriate response to the death Fidel Castro.
