Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn was under fresh scrutiny today after it was alleged he was once the fourth member of noughties pop sensations ‘Sugababes’.
Speaking to The Rochdale Herald Mr Corbyn neither confirmed nor denied the allegations.
“Look,there is nothing wrong with being a member of the Sugababes, however briefly” he said, sashaying towards me, one arm outstretched, holding a microphone in the other.
“Many of the public have at one time or another been in the lineup so I’m sure I could be fogiven if id forgotten,” he continued, tossing his hair provacatively whilst staring down the lens of my camera.
He also denied that, if he had been in the group, he had been passing information to Russian betting syndicates as to which track from the album would be released as a single next.
