Ryanair CEO, and Doctor Who Super Fan, Michael O’Leary reaffirms airline’s commitment to the BBC series

Budget airline Ryanair continues to work round the BBC ban on advertising with boss Michael O’Leary’s cunning strategy.  This has even seen the latest series feature a character called Ryan.  In an exclusive interview, O’Leary explained:

“It all started when I thought about how the TARDIS is bigger on the inside than its passengers expect.  So when we designed the Ryanair fleet, we used transdimensional engineering to put more seats in than anyone would expect.

Then we thought about our destinations.  Much of the excitement from Doctor Who comes from the TARDIS having a mind of its own and landing somewhere different from planned. Ryanair passengers get the same fun exploring new locations like Paris Beauvais Tille.”

Fans of the airline will be familiar with feeling like they have travelled for years, but in leaked footage they were left feeling like they had travelled back in time.  O’Leary continues:

“Our flights are so fast that you’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time.  We were contacted by a black lady recently whose father had recently died.  She wanted her mum to take a holiday and feel young again, and we were only too happy to oblige.”

O’Leary hired writer Malorie Blackman to script a compelling episode.  Educating fellow passengers on the story of Rosa Parks, the elderly black lady was given the opportunity to stand for a white passenger, who grew irate after she didn’t move fast enough.

“She felt young again,” beamed O’Leary.

We understand Ryanair is working on a new concept, Speedy Boarding Ivory Class, which they play to launch on Martin Luther King Day.

Like many satirists, Johnny Wapping accepts he is an arsehole, and thinks society could be better if we were all willing to accept what arseholes we are. If you see him on Facebook, why not ask if he's read the article?
