Donald Trump told Theresa May that she should “grab the EU by the pussy” rather than ask for its consent, according to an interview aired on the BBC this morning.

Speaking on the Andrew Marr show, the Prime Minister said that the US President made the comment during a private conversation on Friday afternoon, whilst the pair discussed Brexit at Chequers.

“He said that I should just grab the EU by the pussy,” she told a stunned Marr. “He said that when you’re a world leader you can do anything – impose trade tariffs, start wars, grab their genitals – and apparently they just let you do it.”

She went on to say that she found the suggestion too “brutal” and would instead seek to negotiate legitimate access to the EU’s private parts in a way that would also allow the UK to explore the genitals of other countries.

Talking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump declined to confirm May’s account of the conversation but did admit that the Prime Minister had found his advice “a little tough”.

“The fake news BBC say that I said those words, not those exact words, but the words that I used, and I know a lot of words, good words, the best words, well, I may have used those words but I don’t know if the Prime Minister will use them or not,” he said.

Trump went on to say that he had enjoyed his trip to the UK, the highlight of which had been his meeting with the Queen at Windsor Castle.

“The Queen, she’s a very smart woman, a beautiful woman inside and out, and it was a great honour for her to meet me,” he said.

“She has a beautiful home, very spacious, with lots of nice things, though the toilets, you know, one of them might be blocked, that might be fake news, though if it’s not then it definitely happened when Obama was here, believe me.”

Russian leader Vladimir Putin, meanwhile, is said to be preparing for his upcoming meeting with the US President in Helsinki by greasing up his fist and learning how to say “No collusion” in a Trump’s voice without moving his lips.
