A bloke with a tattoo of a skull on his neck has done really, really well in a job interview today.

Harvey Wallbanger, 22, from Rochdale had applied for a job as a cashier in his local branch of Natwest and has a very large above the collar collection of neck tattoos.

The biggest design, a silver skull with an emerald in one eye and a really fancy but angry looking snake emerging from the other, proved to be a really useful icebreaker with his prospective employer.

“The bloke who interviewed me said he really, really liked it.” Harvey told the Rochdale Herald. “We didn’t talk about my CV much and spent most of the fifteen minute interview discussing what kind of snake is on my tattoo.”

“He said he wants to get one on his face and I told him to go for it. I mean you only live once. Carpe Diem. I mean it’s not held me back at all.”

“Everybody knows that the best interviews are the ones that don’t feel like interviews. We got on very well, I’m feeling really good about it to be honest.”

Wayne Bow, Natwest Bank Manager added: “Nothing says trust me with the keys to the bank, I make really good decisions like a collection of above the collar and below the cuff tattoos.”

“If you really want to impress get one on your face. I particularly liked the zip tattoo that Harvey has across his forehead.”

Harvey is expecting to hear back from Natwest on Monday.
