News broke earlier today that Labour leader and bewildered Billy goat, Jeremy Corbyn, would not be participating in the upcoming televised debates ahead of the General Election in June.
Theresa May was the first leader to abstain, stating;
“A shark doesn’t argue with the fish.
ITV had initially planned on her being represented by an upturned mop until Mr. Corbyn’s announcement.
Since the story broke, both Tim Farron and Caroline Lucas have also declined to attend the debates and Nichola Sturgeon also expressed reservations, until it was pointed out that she wasn’t invited.
Producers planned to pull the debates altogether, but UKIP’s Paul Nutall described the decision as ‘undemocratic’ leaving him to argue with himself for an hour.
Political pundits predict he will lose.
