Swimmer and US gold medal winning bullshitter, Ryan Lochte, has sort of apologised for making things up.

The lying git said that his description of being a drunken arsehole, pissing in public, smashing doors in and then shitting himself when confronted by armed security and chucking dollars at the situation as being robbed by fake cops at gunpoint and bravely refusing to get on his knees is “Over-exaggeration.”

“You can see how similar the two things are” said a spokesperson for Team USA, “Acting like a cock, crying about how sorry you are, offering every dollar in your wallet; you can see how a little well meant exaggeration can change that into standing up to armed criminals dressed as cops.”

Meanwhile politicians everywhere are adding the redundancy “Over-exaggerating” to their lexicons for next time they get caught fibbing like naughty schoolkids.

“No doubt the phrase ‘Yes I did say that we wouldn’t privatise the NHS but it was merely an Over-exaggeration,’ will be familiar in the next couple of years,” said a person that I might have over exaggerated the existence of.
