Acclaimed UKIP historian and shit stirrer extraordinaire, Arron Banks, took to Twitter yesterday to point out that “the Russians didn’t invade Afghanistan.”
The historian and multi-millionaire, who moonlights as the sponsor in chief for the far-right Tory splinter terror group UKIP, has been gradually rewriting world history for several years starting with British, German and most recently Russian.
“Everybody knows Britain was better then.” Mr Banks told The Herald. When we asked “when?” he simply said “you know, before.”
The Herald is looking forward to reading Mr Banks’ book on European History in which Germany didn’t invade Czechoslovakia and Poland, The Holocaust didn’t happen and Britain never joined the European Union.
