A couple from Rochdale insist that the multi level marketing scheme they’re pushing is not a scam and that anybody can retire within 5 years.
“This JuicelifeHealthwonder Plus opportunity is totally different from all those other get rich quick schemes that don’t work,” said Malcolm De Sperat, “Because not only is it healthy and great according to the really sciency looking bit of paper that Diamond level Juiceseller Dave waved in front of us all once but it will make us all really wealthy.”
“Except those who refuse to listen because they’re losers and the people telling us it’s all a con,” said Deirdre De Sperat, “they’re just jealous of all the success we’re going to have. Praise Juice!”
“Praise Juice!” agreed Malcolm.
David Predittuer, a Diamond level seller explained the scheme to us:
“Look, it’s not a pyramid. People will say it’s a pyramid scheme because they don’t have what it takes to succeed as an independent business owner and will want to sabotage your success but it’s not a pyramid. Look,”
David then drew a diagram on a piece of paper of a person selling both the product and the opportunity to twelve other people, who each sell it to twelve more and so on. Eventually he asked: “Does that look like a pyramid to you?”
We pointed out that if he drew the lines straight instead of deliberately curved and didn’t put lots of arrows in that didn’t make any sense then yes, it would look like a fucking pyramid.
“Then you’re a loser,” he said before storming off.
Multi level marketing schemes, sometimes called direct selling or interactive distribution or even relationship marketing have existed for years. They have operated for years in YOUR area.
So where are the people in your area who retired after five years? You’ll be shown names of people who succeed, but where are the ones you can actually verify?
These companies are in fact selling a pyramid type scheme but can get away with it because they’re also selling a product, whether it be health juices, vitamin supplements, household goods, toiletries, make up, juice, pills, juicepills, herbal products and remedies, crystals or anything else.
If a company is selling you the opportunity of a lifetime to get rich by convincing others to also sell the opportunity of a lifetime to get rich by convincing others to also sell the opportunity of a lifetime… it is a scam. A perfectly legal scam that the person selling it to you has already been taken in by.
Run away. Run away now.
These people prey on your hopes and dreams and leave you poorer. They will convince you in the end that it’s your fault for not being a good enough seller or not ‘wanting it enough,’ but it is a mathematical impossibility for these schemes to work as promised.
Sure, somebody will get rich from them.
It isn’t going to be you.
