Labour to part-nationalise BT as a quick way of getting their broadband fixed.
After five engineer visits, four no-shows and five hours calling BT, Labour has concluded that they were more likely to get their broadband fixed by part-nationalising BT than continuing through normal channels.
A spokesperson at a recent event told us, “basically, we realised that completely overhauling the commercial organisation of BT and initiating a national fibre broadband rollout was more likely to fix our fault than continuing as we were.”
When asked to comment, BT put us on hold and repeatedly told us that our call was important to them. When we finally got through, they then blamed our service provider and threatened yet another fee for an unnecessary visit.
