Dozens injured after Chris Grayling attempts to throw hat into the ring for Conservative Leadership

Several hundred innocent bystanders were left with horrendous injuries, many the authorities are describing as life altering, after a building collapsed in Westminster this afternoon.

How the disaster happened is yet to be fully established but initial reports indicate that a stray hat thrown by the transport secretary, Chris Grayling, is thought to be the cause.

“We’re still sifting through the rubble looking for survivors.” A spokesman for International Rescue told The Rochdale Herald.

“How a flying hat can trigger a chain of events that can level a whole city block is beyond me, but then again nothing surprises me with Chris Grayling.”

Mr Grayling is believed to have simply been trying to throw his hat into the ring for the leadership of the Conservative Party and missed.
