A 53 year-old man killed in a gigantic pants fire at his home in Upper Wally in Oxfordshire has been described by former colleagues as a complete prat.

A second person, believed to be a 61 year old woman suffered serious burns to her legs but managed to escape before the property partially collapsed.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze is continuing but is believed to have been a pair of trousers that burst into flames during a telephone interview with Radio 4.

The man is yet to be formally identified by police but is believed to be the foreign secretary, Boris Falafel Johnson.

In a statement, Mr Johnson’s family said he was a “consistent bullshit artist who wouldn’t know the truth if it bit him on the nose. He won’t be missed.”
