The Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has absolutely clarified Labour’s position on the EU today in a really important speech in Coventry.

He told the press that if he lives long enough to see another General Election he would absolutely like to see the UK thrive in the European Union after leaving it.

The policy shift could lead to the Labour Leader actually saying aloud that he either wants the UK to stay in or leave the European Union.

His core voter base of 11-13 year old Remainers are absolutely thrilled at the news: “We knew Jeremy would come through for us. I’m so glad that he’s on our side. For a while there we thought Jeremy didn’t want to stay in the European Union. Phew.”

Mr Corbyn has denied allegations that the speech was in anyway a “firming up” of Labour’s existing policy of not telling the public whether he’s pro-Brexit or pro-Remain.

His core voter base of 75-90 year old Eurosceptic Tory MP’s and 17 year old Marxists with short term memory problems said: “I loved today’s speech and we’re thrilled that Mr Corbyn wants to Leave the European Union. Phew.”

Mr Corbyn said that he absolutely definitely sort of wanted to stay in while leaving the European Union depending upon “who’s asking” and “what day of the week it is.”

When asked what would happen if the EU said not to his proposal to stay in the Customs Union and the Single Market after leaving the Customs Union and Single Market. He said:

“I hadn’t thought of that.”
