A first year student at the University of Bristol is said to be very excited about getting home for Christmas so she can tell her pony all about Marxism.

Tabitha van Beckwithshaw from Harrogate, a 19-year-old Art History student told The Rochdale Herald that she is “super-excited” to tell Misty all about the evils of capitalism during her Boxing Day ride out with the local hunt.

“I’m sure Daddy is going to be interested to learn all about how capitalism is terrible too. After all he’s a partner at PWC.”

“He’s going to want to get right on to getting the means of production back into the hands of the proletariat after Christmas.”

“I can’t believe that he hasn’t realised that inequality is terrible and that our socio-economic paradigm is fundamentally flawed and pools all the wealth into the hands of a wealthy minority.”

“I’ve bought him a copy of Das Kapital for Christmas. I wonder what he’s got me.”

“I hope it’s a new saddle.”
