A former chocolate delivery man broke into dozens of women’s homes over a 50 year period leaving unwanted chocolates and creepy handwritten notes.

Gary Myers, 76 from Middleton in Lancashire, was jailed for 30 months after being found guilty of breaking into luxury homes or moving vehicles at dead of night all over the world to leave gifts for terrified women when they woke up.

CCTV shows the former chocolate delivery man sneaking aboard a private jet by stowing away on the undercarriage, jumping onto a moving train from a bridge and outrunning an avalanche on wooden skis to leave chocolates in strangers’ underwear drawers.

Greater Manchester Police have revealed there have been literally dozens of incidents involving Mr Myers with his most prolific period between 1968 and 2003.

“We can confirm that Mr Myers was wanted for questioning on the Algarve in the early seventies after crashing a stolen speedboat into a marina to create a distraction so he could leave some bloody chocolates on board the yacht of a woman he was stalking. We know it was him because he left his bloody business card.”

“The motive for this 50 year long campaign of terror is still unclear but what is clear is that Mr Myers is a very motivated, physically capable and daring individual who will do pretty much anything, including fighting sharks, wolves and jumping out of helicopters, to put boxes of chocolates on women’s bedside tables.”

“We are very pleased that Mr Myers is now behind bars and can get the help he needs.”
