Christine Gove, adoptive mother of Michael Gove MP has come out saying “he is still a bit of a bellend.”
It comes after the failed PM hopeful’s shock return to the front bench. Gove, the former Justice Secretary and a key figure in the ‘Leave’ Brexit campaign, who infamously said “we are sick of experts”, was this week appointed Environment Secretary.
“It’s some sort of sick joke” said Christine Gove
“I mean, I am glad he’s got more of a purpose now, as it gives me some peace, but I feel sorry for the rest of the nation. The past few months off have not improved his character, he is still a twat.” We asked Mrs Give to give comment on her son’s return to the cabinet
“First the little tool lies to the nation about Brexit, then he stabs his colleagues in the back during his leadership bid and now he somehow manages to gain another senior position on the environment; he is a bloody climate change denier for goodness sake! I know he didn’t sell his soul to get that role, he sold that to get education under Cameron. It is really weird unless that creature May is trying her damn hardest for a vote of no confidence.”
Michael Gove’s birth mother, who wishes to remain unnamed said “I’m hiding so he can’t track me down” gave the following statement.
“Some people say Michael has a face that only a mother could love. I can unequivocally say that is not true.”
