More details have been emerging of the structure of the Trump elected new administration which is taking shape.

Amid the circulating rumours of secret talks that were taking place between representatives in Washington and lawyers at the Rochdale Herald comes an unprecedented scoop and a proud announcement.

The editor of the Rochdale Herald has issued a statement within the past few minutes that he will be donning the mantle of intelligence officer within the new government in the US.

The wealth of experience and dogged determination in finding stories unattainable by other news outlets is said to have convinced Trump that the editor would be an invaluable asset to his team.

The editor has emailed the reporters here at the RH:-

“In recent days it has emerged that certain supposed news networks were nothing more than a cover for satire, and this is thought by some commentators to have possibly affected the voter turnout at the polls in a detrimental way for Donald, reducing his vote to a near loss to Clinton. Donald needs a solid, dependable source for his intelligence and has become convinced the Rochdale Herald has a superb quality team and manager at it’s helm. We hope to be able to serve up hot, juicy steaming facts without the gravy of satire over the coming term of the presidency”.

We will of course be continuing to produce excellent commentary on the News here at the Rochdale Herald, as it happens.
