The 14th century cathedral has already lost one of its spires and a large section of roof in the blaze after a fire broke out around 18:00 this evening.
Hundreds of thousands of Catholics around the world are already giving their thoughts and prayers in hopes of stopping the raging fire in Notre Dame Cathedral.
Recently the Pope gave a statement “The Lord, Our Father, will not halt the flames until he has received 100,000 prayers in the form of Facebook likes and until #Pray4NotreDame is the number one trending hashtag on twitter.”
The Pope also suggested all believers to add the Papal sanctioned Cathedral banner to their profile pictures.
