A middle aged man from Halifax has done the impossible and pulled off the double denim look.

Glenn Clarke, 53, from Bury in Lancashire, a part-time encyclopedia salesman and full-time horse whisperer revealed the bold new look at Rochdale’s premier children’s soft-play centre The Paper Mill Wacky Warehouse on Saturday.

“He were wearing denim trousers, a denim jacket and a denim shirt. For one sweet moment I thought my real life were all just a bad dream and that I’d finally woken up and it were 1986 again.”

“But then I realised he didn’t have a mullet and I were at a three year old’s children’s party with a hangover on a Saturday. Again.” Steve Dickinson, 42, told The Rochdale Herald.

“You don’t see many denim jackets these days, but to see one paired with a denim shirt and a pair of jeans outside of a rodeo in America. Well that’s just as good as seeing a unicorn.”

Glen added: “Has Steve told you that he was wearing a cravat and a tweed waistcoast? I honestly despair of that guy.”
