FOREIGN SECRETARY Boris Johnson has urged colleagues to “get behind” the PM because “it’s difficult to stab people in the back when you are in front of them”.

The Conservative Party’s leader in Scotland, Ruth Davidson, said “this is why I have quit already. What a fucking shit-show” and that Theresa May “isn’t even just the shiniest turd now – she isn’t shiny.”

Ms Davidson said the whole party were “about as likeable as the main characters in Dr Foster adding that the calls were not led by anyone “strong, stable or even just someone who wants the job”
