Former Rochdale Momentum leader, Robbie Tomlinson, whose real name is Stuart Taxley-Gibbon, has admitted today that Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party, is a bit shit.

Tomlinson, 31, from Ramsbottom, who stood down from Momentum earlier this year, admitted his opinion at the Red Lion Pub in St Albans. Tomlinson left Momentum in October, citing concerns over the “dangers of far-left extremism and a worrying personality cult.”
Friends have told Tomlinson that his life is likely in danger. Having spent his 20s fighting with Antifa, he is a target for many on the right, but has now alienated another large community, who saw him as one of their leaders.

The Herald heard that Tomlinson’s home had previously been attacked, and he and his family have had to move to St Albans, where, let’s be frank, you’re pretty unlikely to bump into anyone from Momentum.

“All I really want is for the Tories not to be in government anymore,” said the class traitor. “Look at the absolute state of the current government. Labour’s leader should be walking into the House of Commons with the announcer from Mortal Kombat bellowing FINISH HER and instead, we have this.”

“So I tried to explain that maybe we could do better, be more electable, in our October meeting at The Baum, and, well, let’s just say I wasn’t expected to stay till the end of the meeting.”

Tomlinson’s replacement as Rochdale leader, Jim Miner, confirmed that despite the dispute with Tomlinson:

“The old values – neighbourliness, decency, courtesy – they’re still alive, they’re still the best of Britain. They haven’t changed, even if somehow people feel embarrassed by them. We must go back to basics. We want our children to be taught the best, our public services to give the best, our British industry to be the best and Jeremy Corbyn, with Momentum’s support will lead the country back to those basic rights across the board.”

We wish Jim Minor every success with his back to basics campaign.

Like many satirists, Johnny Wapping accepts he is an arsehole, and thinks society could be better if we were all willing to accept what arseholes we are. If you see him on Facebook, why not ask if he's read the article?
