2016 has been everybody’s annus horibilis, and it is with great regret that we announce the death of Status Quo legend Rick Parfitt.
Having survived a quadruple heart bypass in 1997 Rick was admitted to hospital in Spain on Thursday suffering from complications following a shoulder injury.
Rick is survived by his wife Lyndsay, their twins Tommy and Lily and Rick’s adult children Rick Jnr and Harry.
