BBC News “Medal Rush” Satire Wins Best Joke Award At Edinburgh 

In a break from tradition the funniest joke award at ths years Edinburgh Festival has been awarded to BBC News. 

“Normally we just look for the lamest pun that’ll get usa bit of publicity,” said organiser Paul Tutherun, “but describing Great Britain’s medal tally as a ‘Medal Rush’ had everyone in stitches. It’s a fair cop, even Simon Munnery isn’t funnier than that!”

Milton Jones and Tim Vine are said to be devastated.
