American news media are reporting widely this morning that President Donald Trump is to award his former White House advisor Steve Bannon with a special participation medal for his service to the country.

The medal, which has already been nicknamed a Drumpf, will be presented to Mr Bannon during a ceremony on the White House lawn just as soon as it has been made by a medal manufacturer, believed to be located in Mexico City.

In order to keep the Drumpf design top secret until the moment Mr Bannon receives it the first Drumpf will be entrusted to a private contractor who specialises in moving goods and people across the porous Mexico USA border.

What the actual design will be is still to be decided with POTUS taking to Twitter late last night to ask for suggestions.

“Bannon great American. Cant find greater. So great. Greater than Kennedy. Kennedy loser. Got shot. Only losers get shot. Couldnt even drive own car. Bannon deserve medal for participation at White Hoise! Turned up every day even when I didn’t!”

Twitter users were quick to offer up their ideas to President Donald.

The most popular shape suggested has been a pointy hat with eye holes. Also popular is a white bedsheet, a burning cross, three letter k’s or just a simple swastika.

Trump is expected to choose the design quickly as the list of potential recipients is growing daily. It’s not certain whether or not staff members have who have already left his administration will be awarded a Drumpf or only those currently headed for the door.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is rumoured to be given one also in a sign of friendship that it’s hoped will foster between relations between Donald Trump and his employer.

If anyone knows where Steve Bannon is likely to keep his participation medal we would appreciate knowing. Will a simple mantlepiece in the Bannon home do or will he keep it somewhere more personal?
