The Whitehouse press corps was today left totally baffled by the latest denial issued by a Whitehouse press spokesperson.

The denial was in response to a denial issued by President Trump in response to a denial the Whitehouse issued last week concerning a meeting that is alleged to have happened last July between Mr Trump’s campaign team and a Russian lawyer who the Whitehouse denies Mr Trump’s campaign team ever denied having ever met.

Allegedly, the meeting last July took place at Trump Tower in New York.

The Russian contact who the Whitehouse denies Mr Trump’s campaign team ever denied meeting is alleged to have handed documents to the Trump campaign that damaged Mrs Clinton’s campaign.

The Whitehouse initially denied the allegations saying no meeting took place.

This version of events was denied twenty four hours later by Mr Trump who said the meeting took place but the Clinton campaign wasn’t discussed. The Trump campaign were adamant that the discussion was about Syria.

Yesterday this denial was denied by a Whitehouse spokesperson who denied that Syria was discussed but alleged that the Clinton campaign was discussed.

It is expected that in the coming days Mr Trump will issue a denial in response to the denial issued yesterday and this denial will be denied by the Whitehouse.

A press correspondent told the Herald,

“Basically nobody understands what the original denial was denying. By tomorrow we’re going to see the Whitehouse issue a denial denying the denial that was denied in response to the denial that was denied. I’ve no idea what this is all about anymore. Please bring back Bush.”
