The award winning author and Terry Pratchet impersonator George RR Martin has revealed to The Rochdale Herald that he is very excited to find out what happens in the next season of Game of Thrones.

“Well obviously I’ve read the books and they were great,” the white bearded hat enthusiast told us.

“I keep thinking I know what’s coming next, what with having written all of the novels that the series is supposedly based on and then HBO always surprise me.”

A fan of the novels who lives with his mum told us “I watch the show so I can tell people that it’s not as good as the books and to explain to people at work that stuff that happens in the television programme didn’t really happen. I mean where’s the zombie Catelyn Stark? It’s just not realistic at all.

Bronn’s not even in Dance of Dragons but there he is on screen with Jamie Lanister. It’s outrageous, I’m going to sue.”

Mr Martin, who lives lives in Sante Fe in a house made entirely from bricks of $50 dollar bills has given us some insight into the final series.

“I don’t want ruin it for anybody, but if you’re a fan of people you like not getting poisoned, tortured or burned to death you definitely wouldn’t have liked the last book I wrote. I can’t comment on what happens in the last series of the television show because it’s completely different.”

“There are lots of boobs in it though.”
