Angry confusion has broken out on Twitter with the hashtags #DWP and #DUP.

The short tweets such as “Bastards ruin lives” and “Blood on your hands” have gone viral, but no one is sure whether the comments are directed at the Department of Work and Pensions or the Democratic Unionist Party.

The DWP and DUP official twitter accounts have replied to the tweets for clarification on who are the most bastardly.

The Rochdale Herald has also received statements from both the DWP and DUP.

“Look, we’ve been responsible for thousands of ruined lives through our work capability assessment and it can be argued we’re responsible for deaths; but I think it’s outrageous to be compared to those horrible twats in the DUP!” Said Iain Duncan Smith, former Secretary of state for work and pensions.

Arlene Foster, leader of the DUP said “How can anyone consider us to be worse than the DWP? Yes, we’re ex paramilitaries and murderers, we also want women who abort pregnancy as the result of rape to be jailed… But we’re not those heartless bastards in the DWP that force cancer sufferers to work in poundland!”

One thing is for sure, both the DWP and DUP are equally awful bastards.
