Following some recent “newspaper” headlines, a source at the Oxford English Dictionary has revealed some new words to be introduced to accurately describe some of the “journalism” being printed in a certain UK tabloid.

Lexicography expert, Bobby Consonant, told the Herald “something has to be done to highlight the downright ridiculous, untrue, hate-filled language and shock tactics used by The S*n. The OED are applying some new entries today with some example meanings and contexts to help people in their word usage”.

Mr Consonant then provided us with a document of the new dictionary entries;

Sunbelievable – When a newspaper prints a headline offending a whole country whilst selling holidays to that country onthe same page.

Sunprecedented – to describe a situation that has never happened for example when a copy of the Sun is actually sold in the Merseyside area.

Sunexpected – when actual facts and evidence are presented clearly and rationally.

Sunfathomable – how does anyone even buy this collection of hate and lies?

Sunsubstantiated – basically, pretty much every article that’s been printed in the Sun.

Sunt – Rupert Murdoch, Nigel Farage, Aaron Banks.
