Red headed billionaire Christopher Evans has been confirmed as the new host of the Beeb’s brand new baking show designed to take the place of their previous smash hit since losing the rights to The Great British Bake Off to channel 4 this week.

The new show entitled Bake Off Britain is expected to get its first broadcast in the Christmas scheduling and is sure to be a contender for the top spot in the ratings war.
Rochdale Herald managed to get an almost unbelievable first interview with the golden nugget Evans himself this morning where he explain the show.

“Basically it’s going to be exactly the same format as before with a few minor changes/improvements to it. Firstly we’ve had to change the presenting line up a little, instead of Mary Berry, that bearded bloke, Mel and Superkings we’ve gone for 16 various different presenters for each segment and brought over a German women to help, but no one is sure why at the moment. I will be the main host along side my beautiful assistant Jennifer Anniston, You know that one from Friends. Also each week will feature different challenges much as the original Bake off did. Week one will see Ginger biscuits week two gingerbread week three Jamaican Ginger cake and the final week will see a move away from baking with the 3 remaining finalists having to create a Chinese chicken stir fry in a chilli and garlic sauce….. with ginger.”

“Evans who is on a 24 million pound a year contract with the BBC so was the obvious first choice” said a beeb bigwig.
