Love productions, the company behind mindless dirge The Great British Bake Off, has said its show will no longer appear on the BBC after this series.

“It’s not about the size of the cheque,” said Rich McRiches, a spokesscrooge for the company, “but now that they’re refusing to up the fee by the extortionate amount we demanded we’re going to offer the show to the highest bidder.”

Millions of grieving airheads were inconsolable until it turned out it would remain on free to air TV.

“To be honest, I couldn’t give a monkey’s jizz jelly,” said Rochdale Herald writer Scott Zsalt while composing the article you’re reading, “but an article about The Great British Bake Off will probably get clicks. Which is why all the rest of the media are covering it too.”

The current series will finish after someone bakes a cake or some shit and it wins whatever it is they win.
