A canoeist fulfilled a lifetime’s ambition last night after winning Olympic Gold for Britain in Rio.
The Rochdale Herald would like to congratulate the canoeist who won a medal alongside fellow Olympian Tom Daley, who won bronze with his synchronised partner.
Other British Olympians who aren’t as good looking as Tom have also won medals including a gymnast who won Britain’s first medal in the discipline for 108 years.
