In an incredible turn of events a local Rochdale man found his keys in the first place he looked for them this afternoon.
Steve Dickinson, 37 from Milnrow in Rochdale, hadn’t even asked his wife Barbara if she “had seen his keys?” when he found them in ‘the key bowl’ by the front door where he had left them earlier in the day.
“It was an amazing experience.” Steve told us. “All those years of Barbara telling me everyday to put the keys in the bowl by the front door seem to have paid off.”
Eight years ago Barbara bought a decorative bowl and put it by the front door and refers to it as “the key bowl”. She encourages family members, including Steve, to leave their keys in this bowl so they’ll be able to find them quickly when they want to go out. She also places wayward sets of keys in the bowl so that people will be able to find them when they ask questions such as “Barbara, have you seen my keys?”
Barbara said “I swear to God if he asks me where his keys are again I’m going to divorce him. They’re always in the f**king key bowl, that’s why we call it the f**king key bowl. How is this my life”
